I have been raving since hardcore was acid house back in early 90's been loving tha sound through out tha years especially 94-95 era. Then things the 'Hardcore' sound faded a little. Things became very different around millennium mark. But now tha breakbeat sound and good vocals are back.

ryg0r's right. Hardcore never "left."
Some people may agree it was starting to fade away a little but I belive its steadying out right now (if that makes any sence to anytone.) In other words its getting stronger. The sounds are changing. (Old school sounds with the new school twist is getting popular now.) Tnues like slammin jammin, Ham- in the club. Lots of old school stabs and piano.
Thunda your also right about the breakbeats. Thats antoher biggie. Now adays even if a track is not a full breakbeat track there seems to be a breakbeat bit in it.
I also see the "Crackwhore" ish sound getting really popular. Tunes like play it loud, Dopest dj and alot of the TNC stuff is really good.
Thunda your right hardcore is back, but it never left. (Sorry about the spelling in this post im to lazy to edit.)

There is so much different hardcore out there like there is freeform, breakbeat trance ect difefrent producers who remix tracks can make it sound difefrent with only the same lyrics if you know what i mean. in the new millennium until about 2003 it was all "club" music and hard dance and Ibza in the charts and old hardcore remixed into trance i hadn't heard of it until early last year and have loved both old a new since

HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE!!!
I would not say faded or "hardcore's back", hardcore has always been for years now, but it has changed many times.
