Anybody else having trouble? I ordered a handful of records off the site (the main IMO site actually, not through HH.com) about 2 months ago, haven't recieved anything. I've emailed them repeatedly and as of yet recieved no reply. The only reason I haven't freaked on them yet is that I live in Japan so I kind of expect delieveries to take a while ... but 2 months is way too long, and I'm getting really suspicious.

I know they've just moved (about a month ago), so that would account for some delay, but it doesn't excuse the fact that they aren't answering their support emails. My first email bounced because their mailbox was full (of other angry customers, I assumed) but it hasn't bounced since.

I just want to get my records and stop worrying about stupid online transactions. If anyone else has had problems with IMO in the last couple of months, let me know!

By the way, I ordered some records from Raw Elements around the same time 2 months ago (cheapest postage possible) and I recieved them 5 days later. Sure it's a much smaller store but I think SOMEBODY should feel jealous about that O o;;...

have they charged you for it yet?

I've only had lost one package in the mail through them, it was the posts fault but it was still lost.

that's why I prefer to have packages insured

I've emailed them persistantly for the last month with no reply (and at least one bounced mail.) It doesn't make me worry about online purchasing, just about IMO, which obviously is a pretty major operation.

Brian K, when the package was lost what did you do? How can you be sure that it was the mail's fault? And did you have trouble emailing them?

This is really starting to piss me off - -;;....

they credited my card. I don't remember how long it was until I contacted them but they didn't take too long to respond to my emails.

have you registered with the e-mail filter they use? If you haven't then they won't answer your e-mail.

Theyu sent the wrong record to me once(both had the same cat number) i e-mailed them and it got sorted in a few days.

Well then I guess they just took their sweet time moving because on the website it says

clarke101, sounds plausible but I can't find anywhere on the site that gives mention to any mail filter, unless you mean the regular mailing list which I've just signed up to and I'll try emailing them for the 5th time now ...

And yes Mr. Silver Richard, I know you live in Japan but I don't think that will help me get this order any faster : ). I may well go through your frontend in future though. At least then I'll know who to blame when the boat sinks ; ).

Spamarrest is a pay service with a 30 day trial. They can't seriously be using that for complaints mail. Maybe they used to but there's no mention of it now and I'm pretty if they did it would be an illegal business practice (forcing people to subscribe to another company's service in order to recieve IMO's own).

I'm going to be UBER patient and let them ignore another 2 emails (give them 1 more week or so) before I do something about this.

check your bank account and see if they have taken the money if they have then i'll say that the mail is lost somewhere and normal if the mail havent showen up 28days after the shipping date the insurance will cover and IMO uses insurance for there mails

They charged me the same day, I have the records.

I WOULD be trying to claim insurance but I'm not even at that point yet because they haven't contacted me or responded to my requests in any way as of yet.

Although i've never had a problem buying from Imo, I have found that they often do not reply to emails.
