Im sorry but ive had it. On this forum there are "producers". Meaning people who make shit ass loops in their basement with some shit program and shit equipment. then they link to their music and their like "Hey everyone check out this bomb track i made!" So everyone listens to it and thet're like "AWW SHIT MAN! I LOVE IT! GO YOU! YOUR A VALUBLE MEMBER OF SOCIETY!" And whenever i hear a song i hate em. they all just sound awful.
Does anyone else realize that people are posting crap ass songs? THEY ARENT ALL GOOD GOD DAMNIT!

Just because you don't like a track, doesn't mean others will have the same opinion.

Hmmm harsh. Well cant speak for anyone else but you certainly made me feel bad, cheers for that. I don't mind constructive critisism, or even someone saying they just plain dont like my tracks, but you shouldn't really slate people for trying to learn something, its not like the tracks play automatically when you come onto the site.

We are different with many kinds of taste.
If I don't like the linked tune, rather I don't say anything.
But if I find it good,i send some appreciating words to the artist.
I don't want to break down the enthusiasm!

Harsh is an understatement. The way I see it, if you post a link to a track, I will listen to it once or twice, pick out parts I like/dislike and give the artist some sort of constructive advice from a listener's perspective. Slating people for posting tunez is not kool, if you don't want to listen to certain people's efforts, don't. As bubly said it's not mandatory to listen to people's tracks, you have a choice, so I suggest you use that choice a bit more wisely and keep your artst-bashing to yourself.

"THEY ARENT ALL GOOD GOD DAMNIT"
does that mean some of them are???
n e way,
people won't know if other ppl like what they have made if no-one else hears it.
and even if it is "crap" so what? theve sat down and had ago.
i dont think ppl post things looking for appreciation. i think ppl post things because they think
that what they have made sounds good (and it may well do!), and they want to share it with other ppl!
isnt that what music is all about??
it could well be a case of "my kids are the most perfect kids in the world" syndrome but i dont recall anyone forcing anything down anyones throat.

Woha, damn CALM DOWN what is wrong with you, Everyone has the right to poast a track they think is good don't attack other members. However i do agree somewhat There is this one member ( CorDharel ) who post TOO MANY and honeslty it pisses me off all of these half grade traxs he does, I encourage posting but posting with Tracks that take time and effort, not posting 3 traks a week that all are half assed

so what if their tunes aren't something you'd hear on a well known label.
that's what we're here for and other producers can give helpful advice, thoughts, and opinions to other producers to better improve their tunes.
this world is no where near perfection and neither does this site have to be...

Mr Berube.
You have to understand, that more often than not, the free tracks that people post are from unsigned artists.
Of course they won't be release quality, if it was, they wouldn't post them unless they were clips.
Sure there is the odd free track from say, Adam L or Sparky, but on the whole, what you are getting is beginner material.
You don't even had to download it. No-one is forcing you do. To actually bother making a thread about this is an insult to all those who are trying to climb the ladder and get some skillz.
I started posting some tracks here. Albeit it craps ones, but with encouragement and time, I'm climbing the ladder.
A big thank-you to Silver for recognising some of the talent that posts tracks up here.
At least they are attempting, all you're doing is spitting crap and not helping. Instead of being a jerk, why don't you help? If you think they are using crappy loops, why not give them better ones? If you think their equipment is crap, why not point them in the right direction to get better gear? At least their trying...

I think the 10 11 *edit, Damn you ryg0r * replies to your post pretty much convey the general opinion.

it's easy to say something is crap, it's difficult to give constructive critisim which is what you should give instead of just instantly resorting to flat out calling something horrid

So perhaps u got something wrong. I am not just sitting 1 hour at my software trying to get something and post whatever gets out of it in this forum.
I am trying to create something cool! And this for hours! I sit on every single track for hours (!) and try to make something that sounds professional.
I don't want people to love my tracks, buy cds or whatsoever, I just love what I have created! And I want to show it to my friends here on hhc.com! I know I am the biggest fan of myself, but who cares, I try do become better! And I learn from day to day!
So don't piss at my shoes please.
BTW why I post so many tracks is cause I love making music, and I got no job at the time so I have so much free time to spend on whatever I want and thats making music.
So I hope we can continue to eat cookies and drink tea together, yaddam. When u see a post created from me u don't have to look in it, cause I guess it will be a new track of mine
