Bonkers XIV says United In Dance Feat. Jenna are the artists behind Shining Down... however, on DI the other night Shining Down came on and I noticed that Force & Styles Feat. Jenna were attributed with it. Is it Bonkers that's wrong, or does DI have the MP3 mislabelled?

The original is Force & Styles, the new version is by United in Dance.
So if it's the new version you heard, it should have said United in Dance.

Ah, I see. A little off topic, but I never really understood why it was done that way. Why does it come United in Dance Feat. Jenna - Shining Down rather than Force & Styles Feat. Jenna - Shining Down (United In Dance Remix)?

It is a mystery.
Hard to see a difference between 'remix' and 'remake', but if the whole song has been done again from scratch (with re-sung vocals, albeit by the same vocalist) - then that explains how it can be released under a different artist name.
