I've always thought it should be stricter here, I can't remember anyone getting banned before. To be honest I think triggy should be banned aswell, or atleast get a warning...
p.s. dr0p_dead_fred used to be okay in small doses, he probably returned because he noticed people paying tribute to his 'Hixxys baseball cap has been stolen' thread...

this topic seems to have gone horribly....horribly, wrong.
oh yea, and i think its a bit much to petition to ban someone. if you have a problem with him, ignore him. If he even has a huge go at you, so what? who is he to you? no one. You've never seen him and probably never will. the only contact you have with him is through this site. is it really that important to you that he goes?
think about it that way before you feel the need to go to lengths like this to get at someone that really isn't important enough an influence in your life for you to have to do that. Besides, if he is that important an influence, well, frankly you should seek help.
I mean look at DMS, he can barely go a day without sitting outside my house for at least an hour without looking in my window and hoping to catch me in nothing but my Jester hat. The obsessed git  hope they up his dosage

Personally I don't have a problem with him/her, not the biggest find mind you, but I wouldn't go as far as to ban. Their's a few people who post on here that no matter what they write I either don't like or disagree with, but again, banning is pretty strong.
What ever happened to freedom of speech?
