Do you mean the venue?
Right... firstly, make sure you have a decent monitor and headphones! Kick some people in the shins if you have to!
Maybe have A drink (as in 1 don’t get hammered!) just to cool the nerves a bit.
Lastly, just have fun don’t worry too much if you make a mistake you'd be surprised at how many people actually notice! Bottom line, do you thing and have fun, it's all you can do.
*edit*
Dont know if you have a set planned but if everyone going is quite into their scouse try and ease them into the hardcore with some scouse sounding tunes before you start to hammer anything to "extreme" ;)

Just relax, and have fun. Don't try too hard to be perfect, because you'll probably fcuk up
Also I wouldn't go exactly to the set you practised, as the best sets are nearly always improvised, and have more energy than the pre planned ones. Have an idea of what you want the set to be, and roughly how your going to get to the places you want to take the it, but remember to try and play to the crowd, if they arn't liking it, then change.
Also if it was me, when going from scouse to hardcore, I would try to use hardcore tracks like Hartbeats, Your Shinning, Memories ect, tracks that have been made in both genre's. The scouse house fans will generally know the tracks, then from there I would change to the hardcore style you normally play.
Good luck, be sure to let us know how you get on.

thanks for the replys!
..bulby_g, yea i meant the venue lol. i was there for a few hours and it went fairly well apart from... the monitor issue lol. the organiser is trying to argue that i dont need a monitor speaker and it will be better if i just have one of the speakers pointing towards me, which is about 20 yards away, imo that is way to far. im going to tell him that basically, you either want to have the crowd enjoying louder music that isnt beatmatched properly and sounds shit, or you let me disconnect one of the 4 speakers and put my monitor behind me so i can mix properly. its up to him but i think he will agree my way is better
another thing is that the sound system doesnt seem to cope with hardcore as well as the scouse, is there a reason for this?
one last question cause i think u guys have covered everything else
what would be the best way to change from the scouse to hardcore? a quick cut, stop small silence then start, get an mc to introduce whats coming next....?
i think we are possibly recording it so i might.. lol, put a copy up here for everyone to listen

I'd say, if you can get a scouse track that has a mellow kind of end i.e strings, then try bringing the hardcore in using a similar style i.e Dok & Ponder - Faces of Angels (CLSM Remix)

try using one of the kfa toolz...or you could just hit the off button on the table, let it wind down and bring in a tune with an intro

Yeah make sure you argue your point on the monitor, it is ridiculous for them to say you don't need a monitor but people always try and do it. As for the speakers, there is no reason they should sound better with scouse maybe someone fiddled with something just before your set? If not there probably just not very good speakers and you noticed it more when you were actually listening to the music.

ive just got back and surprisingly i can say that it went pretty well, apart from my mate, jumping about on the stage like a ****ing baboon, i was right in the middle of a mix and the needle jumped, i could of ****in killed him like! other than that there were just a few beats dropped but no one noticed!
there were more people rockin to hardcore than the italian and scouse
i tried to sort a monitor out but we couldnt get the right connectors so i had to make do
we got it recorded onto a minidisc player so hopefully i should be able to get it online if someone will host it for me.
