Someone still might be offended by it, so out of common respect for everyone it's better if you don't say it.

oh my gosh look at all the shit talking after my topic! a good topic is started off as and now this shite
ok dudes (i won't say 'matez' cause that's too UK'y)
now listen up, next time you see a longhair, you MUST ask him if he likes hardcore, if he says, no I like emo and metal then they are just stupid sheep cause i want to be really powerfull (not in a stupid h*tler way) but we should make all longhairs loving hardcore then hardcore would get a cooler reputation like the way pop-punk is now.
too many raves filled with 'clubbers' with short hair and trendy shit, why not just dress how I WANT YOU to dress then the scene will be cool, oh and djs - you gotta chuck out them stupid pink shirts and stop visiting the salon you 'new men' 'metrosexual' fools that's just gonna make my scene look crap.
HAHA i feel like a SIMs editor

First of all, it's not your scene. And second, maybe the reason people have short hair and dress the way they do is because they are dressing the way they want to, long hair is more in fashion than short hair at the minute anyway! Trendy :p

I have watched this topic grow in size.... Its insane how much people can freakin bitch at each other.
ecstatic_manic_erocdrah, you're just a freakin emo fag who either doesn't know what he's talking about, or just doesn't make sense. Its not up to you if some-one finds something offensive, its the offended parties dumbass.
95_was_the_time, yes the scene has changed. Hardcore is appealling to clubbers rather than just the ravers. OH NOES!!!111 they want to expand their market and customer base so they can get paid, omg they are seelling oout. Faggot.
How about instead of whinging, buy all the hardcore you can find. Thats supporting the scene. Oh whats that? You don't like the new hardcore thats coming out? Then unless you're making your own, you're not supporting the scene are you.
Who freakin cares who had long hair when? Did you even care to notice, that just about EVERYONE had long hair in the early/mid 90s. Not just the hardcore djs. It was part of the global fashion. Surfers and skaters were extremely popular and a lot of fashion was derived from there an infiltrated just about every sub-culture.
Some people have to realise that even the big-guys in hardcore are still human and still get influences from anywhere.

And the fact that a fair few of the original Happy hardcore dj's are fast approaching middle age and therefore starting to go a bit thin on top shouldn't be ignored.
There's nothing worse than trying to keep your hair long if you're going bald!
