Wow I have to get that. I have heard that bonkers 16 is out two weeks later and all the tracks sound like 94, 95, 96 hardcore and it is the biggest hardcore out ever. All the beats sound ahrdcore and there is no trance, just techno, breaks and of corse, the 4/4 kickdrum...

I wish

yes hardcore scene has gone a lot more commercial the last while and i do see what your sayin about the beats soundin weak and like club music, but it's the way that you and 95 whatever wont even look for the harder stuff that IS being made.

You listen to a couple of the biggest sellin cd's and decide hardcores all like that, was plenty commercial hardcore from years bck aswell or are you gonna tell me heart of gold was really raw and underground.

At least the beats were a little better in heart ov gold than some new skool beats. I just don't like the beats in new skool, thats all...

fair play mate i started off listenin to the old scottish/dutch hardcore so i've always had a taste for the bangin/high energy style and i agree that a lotta the kick drums sound extremely lame these days.

dunno if your into the gabba set i posted but try this one http://www.sbthq.net/audio/mixes/sessionmakina3decks8.ram makina on 3 decks, if you like bouncy you'll love it.

If it's up your street check out more of hastons mixes at http://www.sbthq.net/main.htm

Hehe, out of the 10 last Hardcore CD's ive bought, 7 were Japanese Hardcore, 1 was Darkcore, 1 was Frenchcore and only 1 was more like the "mainstream UK Hardcore", witch was Hardcore Tunez 3 (Even that wasnt full of mainstream hardcore, only a small part of it). Point being, totally agree with you there Baldo, lots of diffrent styles of Hardcore being made at the moment :)
