Here's my challenge to you:
-Go out and get some production software and learn how to use it.
-If you can't find the time, MAKE the time. There are plenty of us producers out there that sometimes go without sleep to get our tunes done. If you can't take it, you're obviously not "hardcore" or whatever it is that you kids are saying these days.
-Make some fcuking hard-ass tunes and send out some demos to the labels you think might pick it up. (There are plenty of smaller labels out there that would love some kicks+breaks tunes, so don't fret 95_was_the_time)
Right. Sounds easy.
Some of us are 2 lazy to make music so we listen to it ourselfs and slag off the music we don't like so producers realise where they are going wrong (like how bad hardcore is getting with this club shit) so they think 'maybe I should changes things instead of copying all the other DJs. I am just giving out my opinion when I complain which is giving somthing to the scene instead of keeping quiet which wouldn't give the producers any feedback on where they are going wrong.
Also if you don't like people complaining then ignor them. I think it is good for people to complain about things coz nothing would change if we didn't

Theres a difference between complaining and moaning and slagging off people's hard work. When it all comes down to it, artists (and I mean any form of art, not just music) make art FOR THEMSELVES. They make the sort of art that they want to see/hear/feel/taste. If other people like it then they become successful, if not then they don't. They're not out to make music for you. Quit being lazy and get off your butt - laziness is no excuse.
As for people saying about affording equipment, then as Audio Ecstasy says - get some freeware! And for those saying freeware isn't up to snuff, if you want to go back to the old happy stuff, think what equipment was being used for that? Old battered synths and step sequencers and the like, not fancy supernovas and viruses - the current freeware available is at least as good as that. Go get yourself a free copy of rebirth for the ultimate retro gear.... 2 x TB303s, 1 x TR909 and a TR808.
Good luck

i agree with audio extasy, however i do produce in my bedroom, but i can't be arsed to send it out to lables and really, i know I should. - so i know i could
but to be honest, the majority style of hardcore these days is just my second complaint and always will be. my first complaint is somthing very different - it's the image of hardcore. in the UK if you mention hardcore or somtimes even happyhardcore they just think ' oh so you listen to chav-music'. some say it out loud and I'm sure for some just think it in their head.
if adverts continue to show it as a chav image (and fair enough they are keeping the scene alive I guess) then I don't want to be part of hardcore because it's a real bad thing over here chavism.

Agree with Audio X 100% so i don't need to comment further.
Slightly off topic regarding the 'Chav' issue in relation to Hardcore - I work with a lot of young people and not a single one of them thinks of Hardcore as 'chav' music - to them, commercial dance/scouse/donk/whatever music fits the bill more. Also, there are an awful lot of young people on here. Are they all chavs? Unlikely!

End of the day even if we did get out our own tune (Unlikely) it wouldn't stop Bull & Shit (Breeze and Styles) and Shitzy (Hixxy) making shitty softcore trance. And one tune would not make an effect on the whole of the Hardcore scene.
And I don't really care if it's Chav music, people think what they like. Hardcore is for everyone.
There for me and my anti-softcore productions will carry on moaning.

I wish Hixxy was doing the hardcore he did in 1996, like wanthing to get high (which was also with sharkey) but at least his mixes on bonkers are better than the Breeze and Styles did, well all of them except on bonkers12
