The light bulb was invented by a Russian, Alexander Nikolayevich Lodygin. Humphry Davy invented an arc lamp, which is not a constant source of light.
Antonio Meucci, an italian, invented the telephone in 1849, and demostrated it in New York in 1854. This is a good 20 years before Alexander Graham Bell.
I did some digging around and it looks like a lot of people have a claim in the making of the TV. The idea was pioneered by a German and some Russians. But the man that came up with the goods was a Scottsman - John Logie Baird.

ever try playing Soccer in 1 foot of snow???? with ****ing giant ass winter boots on???? no, me either cuz when winter hits we play HOCKEY. :P
soccer's awsome fun for summer (again lots of broken everythings cuz we played full contact) but it has no place in the winter. :P
and if u meant drinking, well then u got me there, that shit's year round :D

I've seen hockey and I've played it even. There is nothing manly about putting on some pads, skating like a pansy on the ice waving a stick around.
