Its all about the arm movements, dudes!! Give me a couple of glowstix and i'm gone, lost in the music doing my thang!! Quite partial to a bit of crasher-kid stylee during the breakdowns!! Also when an anthem is played u gotta dance and u gotta sing along. It'd be rude not to!!

Sorry I'm Late! I love glowstick dancing. I finally managed to learn five types of fluid. I learned paint. and wind. YEs, I can do the spin thingy that was talked about and I sawthe coolest thing the other day that I'm going to learn. This guy was playing with his glowsticks and he kinda looked like he was boxing or something, If you've seen the matrix and remember the blur effects whil they were fighting you know what This guys dance looked like. complete speed. Sorry I got off topic yes I love dancing to HHC. For me It's kind of like the pure happyness that only an inocent child should be able to feel magnified thirdy fold beyond the point of ecstasy.

*blinks* looks like my topic got revived quite nicely. Sorry I've been away folks, real life calls, new girlfriend, dancing a lot, going to concerts and parties, finals, etc... well anyway, on topic with me!
I don't know jack about glowsticking, but... basically liquid is about getting your fingers to fluidly follow each other, which is a lot harder than it sounds. It's challenging to learn on your own (I managed, though...), and hard to teach online, so you're probably best finding someone who you see doing it (folks often just break into it at random on the street, at work, at school, whatever. I know I do!  ) Just approach them, compliment them on their style, and try to pick up a few things, or maybe ask them to teach you, but in truth it's not really something you can teach easily, you have to pick it up yourself mostly.
If you can't find someone to help ya out w/ it, try this to get yourself started. Put your hands together in front of you, palms together, like you're praying. Then, slowly slide your right hand downwards, and curl your left hand fingers to follow the descending right hand fingers. Then do the motion in reverse, so you're back to prayer position. Next, try it with the other hand, slide down your left and follow with the right. Do it over and over again, until you can just go back and forth without thinking about it. This should help you get into the "wave" aspect of it, which is a good backbone for doing other moves. After that, make up your own style, and pick up stuff along the way. Good luck. STEPS TO HHC DANCING
1. Put glowstick between fingers in right hand.
2. Put glowstick between fingers in left hand.
3. Bouce up and down to the beat of the music like an idiot.
4. Move your hands in a pattern.
This has been how to dance to HHC by aznwasian.

IF your ever in Saltlake city on a wednesday go to a dance club called AREA 51 it on 500 s and 400 w. Nearly every one thier can do fluid fairly well and must of them won't mind showing you thier moves. If i'm thier I have no qualms about trying to teach people my moves. Wind is what I call PLaying with glowsticks on cords. Just in case you wanted to know. while paint is what I call holding the glowstick with your thumb and pionter finger while painting shapes on the air canvas. Hope to rave with everyone soon.

If you relly want to learn how to liquid then just go to one of my skool'z dances... Everyone is doing it there.... they truly have no life. If they do it's a wacked up life. Like mine.

In Toronto, i remember like 4 years ago, you'd see glowsticks everywhere at parties.. now I really only see glowsticks in clubs.. only a small handful of ppl use them at parties still

Hold up! so liquid is just another form of popping, you just do it to dance music?
i figured that's what it was. then i guess i do a form of liquid when i dance sometimes.

I just love it when the whole crowd gest in sync and jumps to the beat...
If your the dj then ya get one of the best feelings ever to see that many people enjoy your set
The way I dance to any techno at the rave parties and whatnot is just get my body into the beat, then let the music flow through me
hehe :) My mind wants me to try to be an MC with all that half-rhyming... even though I suck at it
hehe :)
if ya live in e-town (canada) you may see me in the therapy afterhours klub just dancing away

Sort of, liquid was indeed derived from popping but it has enough of its own flare to be counted as it's own style of dancing. Much like locking is on it's own. It's kinda synonomous with the waving aspect of popping (popping covering everything from waving, tutting, boogaloo and the likes).
You pop btw Lusive? I wouldn't mind seeing more people on the floors of sydney trying this out. I've been trying to teach my self liquid, but i I can only take it so far without seeing others do it.
