yea its actually fairly good for what it is. if your intrested look for atomix, its the same program just older, and it isnt restricted to 30 days, you just dont get all the features.

I have EZ-DJ Plus which is simple and fun and only about £13 to buy. I also have MixVibesPro which much more advanced.

Only problem is, since I imported all my music into itunes it's now in m4a format, and neither of them will read that format.

Not sure if it's actually used in clubs, but I think it would be up to the job. The only thing that doesn't work too well is it's on-screen scratching wheel. I believe you can get a console controller that you plug into your pc or laptop so it's more like the real thing.

I'm just a novice at mixing though. I've never used real decks.

Just gave Virtual DJ a try, that's cool is that. I think that might closer to the real thing than Mixvibespro. You can scratch pretty easily with that one. It will also read m4a files, I might have to buy the full version of that.

Can you use your headphones to monitor in the standard version of Virtual DJ. In the demo it says only available in the pro version in the sound setup, does it just mean the standard full version. The pro version costs about £160 more than the standard version.
