do they still use 2x4's and such in WWE? or is they 'unsafe' or some crap such as that

they are all unsafe and I don't think they can use those anymore. I haven't seen anything like that in like 3 years. Maybe a trash can or a fake chair but that is it. Haha I remember when are wrestling fed took a chair from a CZW event. We got caught by the owner but he lets us have it anyway. They chair was so light and so fake it wasn't even funny. I hit this guy in the back with it once and the sit part snapped in half. I feel on the ground laughing because I didn't even hit him hard. I think I saw a Big Show Kane vs. some people the other day in a hardcore match but they used a trash can and all this fake stuff, it was pretty sad.
EDIT* At one point they banned wrestlers from hitting or going over the guard rails. That lasted about a week then Shawn Micheals got thrown over and that idea went out the window. They try to outlaw so much stuff in WWE. People should try and watch some TWA -TNA it is on Spike TV now for us in the US. And I am finally starting to gain respect to wrestling again because it really starts to enertain me again with TWA. Although they are getting more and more talkative but then I'll grab some ROH or CZW event where there is hardly any talking.

I's have to say mid 80's to early 90's era owned...shit was on!!
Great childhood memories as well.
I also used to be a big fan of ECW, it was great. The things that happened in that show was just bizzare, lol.
I can't bother and watch whatever is going on now, if anything they show more tits and petty catty fights, like everything in the entertainment field. God forbid we have anything that can exclude some sexual content ffs
