I had the same problem with my ex-gf. She didn't like hardcore at all. And she said I should show her that I love her more than hardcore by not going to raves... I tryed to explain her, that raves and her can get along in my life together, I don't have to prefer one of them more to the other. Both of them are different parts in my life. She couldn't accept it. She was jealous that something else caused me happiness. Our relationship ended after a time, not mainly because of this, but this problem took a great part in it I guess...
My present gf kinda likes hardcore, I showed it to her, though she prefers trance more. A little problem is that we both want to listen to our favourite music, when we are together. But that's ok, I kinda like trance, she kinda likes hardcore. :)
Fortunately drugs never caused me problems, I've never taken any... :)

The one with the big tits LOL
so which one are you siding with?
on another note, i'd like to know how girls get off trying to impose their beleifs on their partners (not just girls but im most cases i hear). Not all the time are a person's beleifs actually right, they're jsut beliefs and should be trated as such not as an iron law that applies(that word looks funny...) to anyone! I don't think a relationship should have rules set out, its just not right. if i was going to devote my love to a person i would completley trust them to do the right thing.
Should say i'm 17 and have only had one steady girlfriend before, which didn't last that long anyways because she had a problem with me biking. Yeha i put up with it but it wasn't really a healthy relationship, especially if you gotta think that once you're done with this trail your girls gonne be riding you rather the bike (the bad way of riding). And sometime in the duration of this relationship the was a complete harmony, before the bike season started, that we truly felt together, in a real relationship not jsut about the superficialities. When we went out i didn't care if she was having fun flirting with another dude, as it was me she went home with at the end of the night. Little things like that, which would normally start a big fight were written off. (which makes for some amazing bed tag)
My point is, you've really gotta trust your partner. and its not something you can grow to trust or lose trust with. THe real kind where you know what the really meant when they said "yes you look pfhat"
ya know?

my gf all day every day she is my life and the reason i get up in a morning .
the words to 24/7 r spot on .
waking up at her side every morning puts a smile on my face u cant get rid of.
i love happy hardcore but i love cuddling up on a cold night just me and her .
the way she kisses me sets my whole body tingling .
and when she smiles at me i know she loves me and i feel on top of the world

I met my girlfriend at a rave. But she has since stopped raving and only occasionly goes to House & Trance clubs now. I still don't mind raving every now and again. But she is dead against it now. Thinks it's all about drugs and says my raver friends are a bad influence. I have stopped taking drugs completly and goin out much less for her. Now she wants me to stop buying hardcore vinyl and being in the scene completly. She says if we have kids and marry she does'nt want them to know we were ever a part of the rave scene. "And hardcore music is very drug related" (her words). I don't know what to do, i love her. But don't think i could ever live without hardcore music in my life. We've been going out for nearly 3 yrs now. So thats what makes it so hard. Was just wondering if any of you out there have girlfriends or boyfrionds who feel the same. And what would you do in a situation like this? Thanx..
Personally, I'd punch her in the face... but I dunno how many of you will see the funny side!
