Is there a hardcore scene in NY? Is there anyone on this site into hardcore who lives in NY who would be interested in putting on a night?

The hardcore scene in NYC isn't exactly big. Sure we have a few local DJ's that spin hardcore but the events aren't as massive as it is over there. Occassionaly NY has some U.K. DJ's to come to an event, very rare though...

There's a decent like hardcore/gabber scene down there I believe. Philly isn't too far away either and they're doing stuff these days. Candy Kid is the main NYC hardcore DJ down in that area, shouldn't be too hard to find him playing out either.

I think it's getting alot better, In NYC (city) there's little to none but Upsate where I usualy go to rave, it's the shit, i think it was the time before last I went to see scott brown tear it up, I even got to shake his hand !!!
Prolly within 10 years, we can get them to the city

Yeah I do. I actually might get booked soon. Still need to talk to Todd (GAC Promotions) but they defo need more core so yeah.

Ahh Todd, quite a guy. He's been doing it for so long, my earliest bookings were with him *tear*. good luck man, syracuse loves the hardcore, they just need to know it's there
