To be honest just becuase we all like hardcore doesnt mean we'll all get along well and jus because someone likes hardcore doesnt mean they cant be as much of a prick as anyone else.
Wouldnt let it bother you though buddy is a quality scene for partyin and get loadsa real mates through it aswell, worlds fulla nobs so cant let them bother you.

Name and shame....;)
Not saying this applies to the person in question, but far too many of the older generation of ravers think they own the scene because they were around before others.
Personally, i'm all for encouraging the new breed of hardcore fans - they'll be the ones who are left when us older lot have hung up our white gloves.
(no, that doesn't involve the chavvy newcomers who are only into hardcore because it's the in thing at the moment).

I'm guilty of being a bit jaded. I've pulled the "I'm more old skool than you" routine a few times, though not to the extent of intentionally trying to hurt someone's feelings.
We're just bitter because we're old and it's getting harder to stay up all night.

In our long, wide and varied experience of these things MCs, not all, obviously, but many,
are loud mouthed, tallentless, egomaniacs who think that their shouting is -
far more important than the music that the ravers have gone to listen to.
far more important than the music that the producers have created, who've often burnt the midnight oil putting their hearts and souls into their work of art for ravers to enjoy.
......let's face it. If it wasn't for MCs none of us would know what to do at a rave.......
we'd all be standing around with blank looks on our faces.
Thank goodness for MCs...
NOT
So it's not surprising that MCs with that level of self importance can be so up themselves as to be ignorant and rude to someone with

Producers and dj's can be cocks aswell anno what you mean about arrogant mc's but i no loadsa mc's that are nothin but the best laff and love the music.
Do agree with you though ionosphere can easily rave without mc's if the dj's good enough infact is quite often the best way.

It's sad but true your right. Not everyone is gonna like each other. I wish everyone could just chill and not be so much into "drama". Your gonna have hardcore people be more of an ******* and your gonna have hardcore people who are gonna be so nice and open. They are people and people can be some mean F\/CKS! I still believe in PLUR (i don't wear plur like being a kandy kid and I also still believe in an actual "RAVE" even though I still haven't been to a real rave. To all jaded ravers/oldskool/kandy kids/gabbers/hardcores/junglist music is the only that can save us.
