The production is better but the vocals ruin it.

Not bad the vocals arn't great but isn't too terrible a listen, it's happy hardcore so I don't expect too much in the vocal department lol

Oh and good try with the beats

It has nothing to do with the fact that it's a male voice singing I have no problem with male vocalists aslong as they can sing but to be honest with you you can't.

Nice work, really awsome actually, and like mark-ireland said the production is great but not a fan of the vocals.

Apart from that. good stuff

LOL....

Ok dude,

I wont be too critical (well I'll try not to be anyway)

Basically, your production is far from the worst I have to admit.

Structure and timing, for what it's worth, is spot on.
Good quality in general too.

However, I cant help but think this is caught in some gnarly 1997 happy-vibe, not only that - but some gnarly 1997 happy vibe thats been done in holland by someone who cant speak english.

Maybe its the vocals that say "happy hardcore" (so naff in my ears, that I'd personally think David Hasselhoff playing an air guitar alongside some kid with a bowl haircut at the eurovision, would in fact sound cooler) put me off...
maybe its the unbelievably, happy-out-on-helium balloons that grills me...

bottom line is, you've got potential - obviously you can work some beats together with nice results (re-listening now and at around 00.40 seconds I like your transition for example, nice layering), but you really need to progress your style beyond annabolic frollick style dribbiling.

The only thing I can recomend is getting a shedload of new sounds..
try listening to stuff on nu energys website (paying particular attention to the likes of camel records), having a good think about things and then returning to the drawing board.

Once again, im not shoveling shit on you here dude - I genuialley believe this could be a springboard to greater things, but please for the love of god, head my advice!

Dont see this as a downer, just see it as a postive recomendation to greater pastures.

Thx billybigballs2005, I really appreciate ur long feedback!

I got a question: What do you mean with "get new sounds"? I should use other synthesizers? Or the kicks? Or what? I don't use downloaded sounds, I create every melody by myself from zero.

And I like the piano

And u think the "of my happy hardcore" is naff? OMG how come that I am the only person that think its cool? Why is it naff? Do I say it wrong or what? Perhaps I should do the vocals in german. But hey, I mean every person that sings has another accent, I wonder why u get this "this is different and it sux" instead of "this is different - cool" feeling. In the end I am just myself...

But I am willing to learn. I have to say I have no clue what effects I should put on vocals I record, but I think the vocals could have a lot of improvement if I would know what to do.

Could u teach me how to make em better?
If you know how to edit vocals, I would be very happy if u'd take 10 Minutes to edit it or just tell me how u would edit it.
This is the naked vocal file:
http://cordharel.bachi.net/sound/discover2.wav

Lol I get the feeling that I am a strange person as I am the only one liking the vocals

A last thing: Please respect my style. I am not annabolic frollick and I am not trying to be scott brown, I am CorDharel from Switzerland making strange fresh happy hardcore

Yeah sounds good man... a few points:

1. Compress and tune your voice more it sounds out of tune.
2. Fatten your kicks and bass they are too tinny.
3. Change your leads from Euro dance sound to more hard dance.

Production is getting there.

I really like this tune
Sadly I have to agree with most of the people saying that the vocals just don't do it
Theres a reason producers often get other people to sing in their tracks! I wonder what scott brown's tracks would sound like if he sang in them
But other than the vocals, I'm really enjoying this track. It's got that quirky CorDharely sound to it. Especially loving the mix between the piano and the synths. Keep it up!
