Anyone have one of these? I wanted a psp, i mean they are good, but the games aren't the type I really wanna play on in the common room/bus etc. I wanna play mario kart n shit like that! However I am aware that u can download old snes and mega drive games onto ur psp memory card.
So whats ur opinions on them?
If im just wanting to play some fun games (i hear wario wear is friggin awesome!) is the DS better? Btw, i have no intention of wanting to watch movies on the bus or train or anything, gives me really bad headaches, duno why!

i stole a buddies psp, freaking love it. But can't compare em so i'll just tell ya some of the ups of the psp.
the sound is amazing, especially if you plug your phones in.
it's go a small HD so you can save some crap and whatnot to it
the movies, regardless of what you do on a bus, are wicked. I watch them most of the time tryin to sleep.
like the layout of controls, that joystick is pretty tight, and even if you got gamer fingers (greasy/wet/slippery) you can still play

I'm boycotting PSPs for their lack of integration with other playstation platforms and their money-grabbing UMD movies as opposed to the popular DVDs. Honestly, they could have just made it a couple of inches bigger and it would have been revolutionary. God damn arseholes brought out a PSP-only GTA game just to entice more gamers into buying their shit. I hate how greedy multi-million dollar companies can hold up technology just for their own profits.
I hate Sony.....

I once read a test, and just so, u can't tell which one is better.
But I like the (MY) NDS more:
- U got Sonic Rush (I love sonic!)
- U got Castlevania (for smashing vampires and monsters, great actionggame)
- U got Advance Wars with touchscreen-only playing (Strategy game)
- U got Mario64ds (this game owns if u like jumpNruns)
- U got Mario Kart (which is the best NDS game till now i think)
- U can play with friends (if they have a NDS too) just with 1 game (the others download it. dunno if thats also so with psp.
- Wario Ware is fun, but be warned: Its not a jumpNrun like u'd expect, its a mini-game-collection (u do mini-games all the time and beat urself or friends in it) okay i have to say this is not a bad thing: I played Mario64DS with my friends, and they hated the 3d jumpNrun, but they L O V E D the 6-8 minigames in the game  I should have bought 2 NDS 
- Nintendostuff is not as expensive as psp stuff i think
- Touchscreen 0wns (also microphone)
- U can play gameboy advance games on it (like the Zelda series, other great games or I personally like the Chess Master game)
- If you have a girlfriend, give her an NDS and "Nintendogs" and she will never give it to you again

ive heard with the DS if you are playing mario kart for example if their are eight of you in a room if only 1 of you have the game you can all race on multiplayer, maybe what i just said is completely wrong but ive heard it sum where and if it is true then that's pretty niffty!

I have a PSP and used to have a DS. I only got rid of the DS because I needed the money for an imported PSP and there was a lack of good launch games for it, although I wish I still had one now as there is a lot of good games coming out on it.
I do prefer the PSP, it's great playing GTA while bored at college and of course you can listen to music and watch films, but it is currently on ebay as I need money for christmas and Xbox360. :)

I have both & I prefer the PSP TBH. I think the graphics are a bit of a let down on the ds and it needed an analogue stick but it's still amazin and I wouldn't get rid of it.

Thats true. Like I said. That also works with lots of other games like BombermanDS.

i got a psp mainly for the graphics. i only got so far...
grand theft auto: liberty city stories (if anyone hasn't guessed yet)
ridge racer
and wipeout pure (which hasnt arrived yet)
also cause when you register your psp, sony send you a umd movie of spiderman 2

I mean because most ds games use early n64 graphics and none have pushed the system
while psp have playstation 1 graphics, and looks oretty
pity no games like beatle adventure racing have been launched yet for ds, that game was awsome
