As of 01/01/06, the remix fees commanded by the increasingly legendary "Cube::Hard" & "Darwin" will increase. Compared to most notable artist types, they will still be bafflingly reasonable, and indeed obnoxiously good value, but simply more expensive than is currently the case.
Yet, clearly, there is still a way to take advantage of their even more ridiculously low "current" rate. That is, to get a remix done by either of them. Now. Or soon. Before 01/01/06 in fact.
Obviously only a limited number of projects can be taken on board in this timeframe, so those who are quick to act will secure current rates. Those who lapse will want to hurt themselves in recompense for dilly dallying.

It's not a remix competition. They are talking about the fees that they charge for doing remixes.
