i know a thread about your mixes was recently opened in general discussion, but my topic isnt about what mix i've come up with, but i want to ask something about a mix ive put together and think it's okay. i dont want to trash that topic about your mixes, so ive made a new one. hope its okay.
now, i dont own turntables or any devices of such, nor i have a program on a computer to make mixes, so i cant really check on my own if the following songs are good.
so i was wondering, if any of you DJ's would check following tracks, and please tell me which songs dont fit together, or arent able to "re-master" so they would "jump" into other song, and what would you change. sorry for my weird selection of words, but i dont have the necessary vocabullary to speak the professional DJ language (or correct english for that matter).
1. Alek Szahala - Supriya (Live edit)
2. Oli G & Invader - Living Hell
3. Carbon Based - Ultimate Protection
4. Vagabond - Hugger Mugger
5. Dreadhed - Chemicals in Motion
6. Dok & Ponder - Ribcage (Oli G RMX)
7.Lost Soul - Too Strong
8.Lost Soul - Lemme Hear Ya
9.Kevin Energy & AMS - The White Stuff
10. Scott Brown & Neophyte - Self Destruction
11. Scott Brown - We're Droppin This
12. Euphony & Storm - Blinded
13. Alek Szahala - Anmitzcuaca
14. Lab-4 - Hellboy
15. Oli G - Gir (@ 190bpm)
I think some songs match quite well together (1-6, 10-12, 13-15), well i hope so. but the middle part is a freakin riot.
its obvious some songs need to be cut on the start, to fit right in, but i guess you DJs know exactly what i mean and what's need to be done.
and yes, songs listed above are my top 15 (from freeform/hardcore). thats why that selection.
thanks in advance

download atomix (better than virtual dj which has replaced it) and download the songs you want to mix off the well known mp3 download sites. easy.
its going to be hard to find someone thats a, got all of them choons, and b, going to want to figure what goes with what.
take the plunge and have a go yourself, you will be glad you did when uve cracked it

All tunes will mix it's just down to the talent of the DJ mate and to be honest Save up for decks and dont cop out with Computer mixes. Keep the DJ scene alive....Buy some Decks.

man, no comp program will ever be as good as decks.
its not the same, nor will it ever be.
its like comparing driving to a driving simulator on a computer. sure u can have all the realistic crap u want, hell you can make a game that deploys airbags if u hit someone, doesnt mean it will relate in any way to actually driving a car :p

to a DJ who would try to build up a mix. i dont see a problem here. but oh well.
and as far as i know, piracy = copying CDs and selling them. so dont talk about me pirating.
