I hope it gets more old skool sounding/ 'happier' and FASTER! Its gotten so slow, I love Brisk for still mixing the music at 175+ and other DJs that still keep the speed up.

I think it will be more like earlier hardcore with a new attitude and style.

Listen to "working up a sweat" by HAM - Bonkers 15

Yep Brisks hardcore is one of a kind. It's make me realise why i got into hardcore in the first place. Has that raw energy I loved about it in the mid 90's. Robbie Long Re- Con and Ham are fantastic too. They all keep their Basslines really prominent and are'nt afraid to try something different to the rest. In 2006 we'll definantly see a return of the piano riffs and breakdowns.

What I'd like to see is freeform growing even stronger and for it to merge with the breaks scene a bit more, i'd love to be able to go to a big rave and to hear sets with both 4/4 kick lead tracks and breaks tracks mixed together (I know it happens from time to time but it's not enough IMO). I'd also like to see some of the new sounds being represented by some of the smaller labels being brought more into the picture, I don't think enough casual hardcore listeners get to listen to all that's on offer.

What I think will happen is that the mainstream sound will stay much the same and keep getting bigger, I'm sure it will burst at some point but probably not this year.
