How good is that track?? I know a lot of people think it's too out there and weird. But if you ask me, that is one of the most cutting edge Hardcore tracks ever released. It's the only hardcore tune that has influences from the electro trance wave beng pushed by guys like Ferry Corsten etc. Hixxy should really be admired for having the balls to try something different. That's what hardcore has always been about, pushing musical boundaries as far as they go. Hope Hixxy puts alot more stuff out like that. It's an engineering masterpiece!

That track is trash. It has no build up, it doesn't create excitement, certainly doesn't make me want to dance... then it just collapses and fades into the next song. I'll have my Hardcore, hold the Electro Trance please. Ferry Corsten is very much not one of my favourite DJs, nor are any that sound like him. Plain, repetetive synths without any flavour can stay in the mainstream.

At first i thought it was a shambles, but i have grown to like it so overall i would say the tune is good, but nothing more.

So does anyone know? The tune is truly awesome. Fine some people seem to be scared of change and only like their hardcore to sound the same but all producers should be pushing boudaries and creating new sounds, not to mention trying new formula with existing sounds. Change is good and repetition doe not belong in the hardcore scene.

not moving...bouncy
but i like the vocals, "open up and take a look inside"
the image that first popped into my mind
was to like open up an eye and look inside it...
i thought that was awesome
it's not a tune that i'd need to hear more than once though.

I hate repetition, which is why I said you can keep plain, repetetive synths out of Hardcore. The song is plain and repetetive, which is why I dislike it. I'm not at all afraid of change, Hardcore should be experimenting and expanding, yes, but not into dull, repetetive songs... and in my opinion it shouldn't try to copy another genre. Freeform is the future of Hardcore, fast, exciting, highly danceable, complex and experimental.

I agree with you but lets face it some tracks are repetitive but thats ok if they have a good hook to them. As for copying other genre's that's not what i said, I said that taking influence from other genre's always helps to progress a style not completely ripping it off!!! Besides what i said wasn't a personal attack i was merely making a point so no hard feelings mate
