I almost decided against uni, took a year out but realised- what I do then could easily end up what I do for the rest of my life.
Almost finished a degree in Business Information Technology, and although I haven't decided on a career, one of my modules can earn me up to 50K+ a year...
I'd say stick at college/uni, you will always have the qualifications to fall back on later on in life.
But like B.C said....speak with a careers advisor.
