if you have any doubts about the truly wonderful year 1996, try and get hold of the helter skelter discovery tape pack ( june 1996 ). every set is top quality, and dj vibes' set is still the best thing i have ever heard, truly wonderful. if anyone wants a copy, get in touch.

i've got june the 1st 96 Dj vibes the best ****ing hardcore i've ever heard
i've got DJ sy helter skelter dunno what year hixxy n slipmatt aswell dunno what year i think 96 or 97 & Dj Hypes Part in Helter skelter going back to 95 now.

96....easy
for a start hardcore died in the 90s - the music you hear these days is just clean club music because the big names have aged and mellowed out and are hogging the 'scene' to them selves.
at least in 96 you didn't get shite like clubland (pretending to be harcore)... it really is lame these days.
