Why has Uraken blatently copied another track and published it as his own? I'm not going to say what the copied source is due to the rules, but i think some people might know it already.
I just hate it when people on Clubland change our Hardcore tracks and take full credit for the track, instead of calling it a remix! And this is exactly what Uraken has done. It should be called '??? - ??? (Uraken's Hardcore RMX) and then the original artist would still get credit for making the damn track!
it's a decent track overall, but is nowhere near as good as the source.

(I havent heard the track in question)
Theres a diffrence between a remix and a cover. If Metallica plays a track from Madonna, its not called "Metallica Remix". Check the inlay of the CD. From there you can see by who the track is written by.

the inlay of the CD is all well and good, Whispering, but my point is proven by the fact that you yourself don't know the original Artist... And there will be no CD inlay with an mp3 will there?

If you mean mp3's as in bought from stores, i have no experience of those. Also how can i know if i havent even heard the track. If i buy a CD, i always read the inlay when i listen it the first time.
This is done this way in every genre, except classical. But there its done probably because an fairly "unknown" orchester doesnt sell nearly as well as, for example the name Tchaikovsky on the cover.
Do you also think that for example "Turn Up The Music" and "Fly With You" are just blatant ripoffs, too? ...or how about Adagio?

no i mean the fact that Uraken's Take Off is an mp3 only release...? It's from the main page (as you know)
'Turn Up The Music', 'Fly With You' and 'Adagio' are well constructed tracks that resemble the original in very minor ways (Adagio less so) but Take Off is basically a copy
you will need to hear the original to fully understand what i mean bud

This track has been covered legally, it has been approved by the orginal artist and publisher.

A ripoff an a cover are totally diffrent things. On a cover, the artist who wrote the track gets royalties for it. On a "ripoff", the writer gets nothing.
