Which country do you think has the biggest influence on the Hradcore and Rave sceane in 2006. Being from the Uk I would say England but then I have heard some very hard Duch stuff (with very had beats) and i'm yet to hear any hardcore from Egypt!

Whats your thoughts on such a post?

Do you mean up to 2006 or in 2006?

thats just stupid, go abroad and you'll see otherwise

the early rave from uk has had a major influence but as far as the best scene, hardcores tiny here compared to a lot of europe

I'm talking about the present more than the past.

Truthfully, I would say Holland...
But that's because of the oldskool scene...

Today, being influenced by breakbeats uk, hhc uk style, Italian hc...
I wouldn't really know.
There are so many countries that produce excelent Hardcore. Scott Brown (mostly B sided records), Bodylotion, Art of Fighters, Nico & Feta, Angels of Hardcore... And those are just for starters...

But, I am dutch, and I just love Beats and Bass, even the mindless drums sometimes, and in my heart I always will be Gabber...

But seeing how the times have changed the scene...
To me, both UK and Holland are Hardcore.

Thanks for the response, I will try to explore more Itialian Hardcore (will this have Roman style drumsbeats?) I'm also trying to find more Dutch stuff too. For the Uk, give me Hardcore from 1992-1998ish and any of this new 'Acid Trance/ Hardcore' sound that seems to be comming out of the freeform sceane here in the UK (and maybe overseas)

i think you could argue that all countries have an influence on each other. pro djs travel across and them make a new sound form what they have heard, so i would say that all of the countries which are home to hardcore are important.

admitidly, 2 yrs ago i had no idea that hardocre existed out of the uk, so i would have sed UK is the home of hardcore. lol. i was a bit ignorant 2 yrs ago. i supose i am now, but i accept that life is a learning process. in that same way making music is a learning process. half of the stuff u hear 2day wouldnt exist if an open mind wasnt applied when composing the tracks.

which kinda core are you refering to, cuz for gabber it's different than for speedcore which is then different to happy hardcore and so on.
specify plz cuz different countries play big parts in different parts of the collective hardcore-scene :)

Speedcore?
Ehmmm... best way to explain is that it is faster and harder than Gabber (Dutch style Hardcore) is, I suppose...

BTW: Hey Knightmare, well said
