What's your favourite hardcore vocalist of all time and present, and do you think we need a bigger variety of singers in hardcore?
My favourite of all time would probably be Jenna, but Lou Lou seems to be on top form at the moment! Personally I love hearing vocals from someone different in hardcore, the regulars are great but abit of variety is nice....
Your thoughts?

Personally, Lisa Abbott is my favourite vocalist, she has a hot hot voice! But i also like lou lou. I think there should be a lot more variety though as it gets kind of old to see the same people singing the songs all the time. Plus having lots of different vocalists would make each song mroe original i think...

Yep. I wouldn't say he's the best vocalist technically, but this may be one of the reasons why I like his vocals so much. I absolutely love this raw edge that they have. They sound unpolished and very natural, which makes them sound so passionate and real, unlike a lot of other vocalists' work. His voice is also very recognisable, which I really like. It's got this special tone to it. Most of his vocals bring shivers down my spine, and that's something that not many vocalists have achieved. Listen to "Unique - 5 AM", and you'll know what I mean. Heaven7's Vikki (i think thats right) has a beautiful voice and ov course Jenna and Lisa Abbot are jst all time faves.

I've gotta say hearing Darren Styles doing Jealous live was fecking amazing and yes I do have the hots for him too  see my new profile pic cooming soon.
Also love Lisa Abbot , vocalist from Paradise and Vicky from Heaven 7.

Yep, I like Recon's vocals as well. My favourite vocalists apart from Styles are Cube::Hard, Stefan B, and Justin (a rock vocalist who's featured on some Darwin tracks, NOT Justin Timberlake, eurgh).
I've got this thing with male vocals. I've probably overdosed on female vocal tunes. I still love them, but my preference lies with male vocals at the moment. Always loved Styles' voice though, even when I wasn't into male vocals at all.
As for favourite female vocalists... I'd have to say Verena von Strenge (Dune), Jennifer Bolton (Triple J etc.), Vicky (Heaven-7), and Lisa Abbott.
