Okay so i want to buy some new decks but i dont really know exactly what to get. Ive heard nothing but good things about technics 1200s but they are really really expensive and im willing to spend the money and everything but i just want to know if its worth it or if there are any better decks or anything coz im really out of the loop. Any suggestions or info? I was thinking to get Stanton t80's... Anyone had any experience with these?

Go with Technic 1210's, there a great solid deck that will last you a lifetime. 1210's are the decks you will find in most clubs so if you start playing out you will more than likely be using them most of the time. The top end Vestax and Newmark decks are also very good, lots of pointless functions to play with but it doesn't make them a better deck IMO. I don't know about Newmark decks but in my experience with Vestax decks they break all the time. Stantons don't seem to hold very well at all so i'd avoid them completely.

I've got Stanton Str8-80s (which i think is the old version of the t-80s but i could be wrong) anyway for me they are perfect decks.
Bulby do you mean they dont hold the pitch? If you do then maybe you were using the cheaper Stantons, the ones i've got hold it perfectly.
They've more torque than Technics, more pitch, better features, and cool blue leds [:d] The only thing that lets them down compared to Technics is build quality, Technics are built like tanks and will probably last forever whereas other dex may not last as long.
Also the tone arms are "skip resistant" with them being straight, i scratch like crazy and the needle hardly ever jumps, the only time it does is when i try somethin mad on the record lol

im gettin new decks n im definately opting for technics mk 2-5, i wanna get mk3 but i dont think i'll be able to find em anywhere coz they're pretty rare for some reason!!!
otherwise i'll try get the mk5's!
my mate got some vestex n they seem very good but the pointless joystick on them to speed it up or slower it down seems pointless!
thats wat god made fingers for right????
