If you're familiar with "doofs" then you know the only beats played are Psy-trance. These underground dance partys are held in forests all over the northcoast of NSW atleast once a fortnight. It's pretty amazing seeing tens 0f thousands of dollars worth of audio and visual equipment set up in the middle of the bush. One of the main organisers asked me to organise a doof with a bit of a change. The change will be to throw a bit of hardstyle, happy hardcore and hardcore in everyones face. I'm not organising anything until we get enough people willing to attend. The party will be held around september in lismore area (north coast NSW)

The Psy-Trance/ Goa parties here are...amazing. The visuals are OUT OF THIS WORLD! Usually they're held in loft spaces, art gallery type places with trippy sh!t. They're awesome!

Psy trance is amazing and the parties are unreal, its a worldwide culture aswell i'd recommend trying the parties to anyone.
I could see how freeform or some types of gabber could be fitted in later in a night, but hardstyle and happy hardcore just dont seem to go with it imo.
best of luck anyway i dont really no what its like in aus, but i couldnt see happy hardcore going down well at a psy trance party over here.

Yeah completely agree with that, completely different scenes that don't really cross over in any way.
Baldo mate do you go to the psy trance nights @ SE1? Cant remember what it's called now but I went the other week and it was blindin! Well worth checking out if your into it. Think were going again next friday if we can't get to HTID.
