Anyone here like the Hardcore that came out in 2000/2001? Oh there wasn't much was there, no Boners, just old skool albums and loads of chart mixes. My latest quest is to find the fogotten Hardcore from the early noughties. Best track of 2001? Hixxy's remix of Woderfull Days (Charley Lownoise and Mentel Theo)
Anyone else know much about early noughties Hardcore?

I can't remember dates to well. There was certainly some vinyl activity... if I remember i'll thumb through my records and see which ones are from 2000-2001.

Not to sure but was it Clubland that came out in 2000/2001 thats got hardcore tunes on it.

Hahaha Clubland does not have any hardcore on it. Clubland = Scouse House & maybe a few other types of club-e dance tracks, it may sound like hardcore being played slow but it's not!

i thought 2001 was shit hot, uk hardcore was still a new style and a lot of the big lables had first started using the formulas there still using now.
next gen and evolution from 01/02 is top notch, and im sure quosh had a couple tunes out like "if thats alright with you" and "bring me round to love"
my memory of exact years aint too great but its defo about that time, raverbaby were soundin fresh as you like aswell
defo a good time for uk hardcore

it sounds exactly like uk hardcore slowed down bulby mate, i dont find listening to clubland any different to the commercial uk hardcore apart from the speed.

Heh it's not all THAT bad ;). I think RB started in 2002... might be wrong though. I'm sure you're right anyway it all started getting played out around 2001 regardless of any release dates.
katie_is_krazy - It wouldn't have been the Hixxy rmx ( the hardcore version) on Clubland. The only clubland cd's to feature hardcore tracks are Clubland Extreme Hardcore 1 & 2. 2005 & 2006.

There was a chart remix of Wonderfull days which I have ehard at the motion simulater my Borunemouth Peir (fair grounds play club music) Raver Baby started in 2001 by Hixxy and Styles and Breeze teamed up. Clubland 1 (the pop/club cd) came out in 2002 (I think)

Yeah but like I said it's not the hardcore mix. Where did you find out Raver Baby started in 2001? I checked my records but there is no date... was pretty sure the first release was shipped in '02 even though they had probably been played out before then.
