I dissagree, Hixxy has always had his own style which has been banging, Back in 95 he was with the hard techno style tunes, 96/97 he had his own style with tunes like my way & get into love, reall happy tunes with a hard beat that noone else done, 98-99 he went 2 a more hard trancey style, 2000-2002 he was using more of a euro beat with tunes like wanting 2 get high & just accept it & now he has gone on2 his own style again, At the end of the day u cant slag his tunes of. He is trying 2 do the best things 4 the ravers & what he is doing must be working cause he keeps makin these tunes. Maybe u should just sit back & enjoy the tunes he makes in stead of bitching about them, Let him do his job other wise u will be listening 2 flip & flop cheesy pop.
Keep going hixxy i enjoy ur stuff!!!!

Since when was Wanting to Get High (Smoogie's awake) come from 2000? The original was in 1996 which as I already metioned was his best year. Also his remixes of On top by A sense of summer are both 95/96 classics. Then there was his Antisocial tracks from the same time. Pure classics.

I can have an opinion on anything I like, and slag off any tune I like - as I said in my first post I'm aware of all the amazing things Hixxy has done in the past & there are some wicked tunes on CXH2, but I'm not some fanboy that will swallow any tripe he produces - it just seems as if his creative abilities have been a bit rusty recently, but ill admit "2 Dream" (CXH2) has grown on me.

And btw, like all you lot, I forgot about this topic ages ago but needed to say that!

Hixxy - Thumper

That's all I can say, one of the best tunes I ever heard!!! I have a different taste to what hixxy produces now a days but he is very talented producer and I can't say one bad thing about him. I've not heard the new cd he's done so I can't comment =(

Wanting to get high 2000 (I thought it was 2001 hehe) is a sweet version but the older one owns it by far xD

personally i prefer the old stuff (early bonkers mixes) but if he kept doing that then his style would get stale, and then his music would get boring and then people would stop listening to them. Although im not the greatest fan of his latest stuff i can see that hes trying to evolve the music.

Sorry... but IMO hixxyz mix's have always been shite...
His intro to Bonkers 10 was SUCH A ****ING LETDOWN!!!

Thou Sholt Not Forget - gave you a huge buzz and made you feel proud... then all you herd was "theres a bullent in the gun"

it was just like "PHAT!!!!"

but... then... HOW ****ING SHITE WAS THE TUNE!!!
BEOUND CRAP!!! IT WAS ****ING GAY!!!!!

WHAT A ****ING LET DOWN!!!

His best mixs were bonkers 3 and bonkers 5
(B5 being my personal fave :D)

but as much as i hate to say this... and as much respect i have for him...

i really do think his pasted his sell by date...

But then again... it wouln't be bonkers without him... he just can't leave....
