i love euphoric trance. dunno what it is about it but nothing can beat it, just seems to remove all distractions and cares in the world. cunney you should listen to 'Pulser - Cloudwalking', one of the best build ups and peaks in music man. some trance producers are the best going, dogzilla springs to mind aswell as pulser and john 00 fleming

uk hardcore's hardly hard though is it? I listen to shitloads of gabber, speedcore, splittercore or whatever but i still can enjoy tunes that are slower or weaker.

trance isnt about total energy and being hard though, its about mellow strings and total euphoria. yes a lot of is boring and predictable but so's every genre of dance music.

agree about hard dance though i think thats even more bland and shit than the main room hardcore coming out, even less energy to it but theres some gems and talent.

yeah I can still enjoy listening some of the stuff at home - nothing new springs to mind - really all the anthemey euphoric stuff but I don't want a night out on it! I'd rather a have a stomp to some hardcore. In fact I amazed myself at HTID 14 cos I spent so much time in the gabber room looking for you I was quite getting into the harder stuff!

Trance, and PsyTrance in particular, is fantastic.

It's not about the 'Outward Vibe' it's deeper and more personal.

It needs concentration and focus to fully appreciate it,

....but the rewards are immense.

i get you now bud, i havent been to a trance event in the uk in years, dancevalley was the best rave i've ever attended but i defo prefer hardcore for stompin to. Especially the bouncy techno/gabber i thinks the best for just going mad to, glad you enjoyed the hard room i cant wait for summer sensation now.

Like sixfeet says the best euphoric trance is like nothing else, more for when im just sitting in but i love it so much nothin else gives me that feeling.

There is loadsa good new trance aswell, same as with uk hardcore though it takes a lot of looking through the new releases to get past all the boring stuff and find the gems.

Psytrance is amazing and have to say my fav part of dancevalley was going in that room with a few shrooms and spending saturday afternoon with the different people in there. Only way i can describe them is extreme techno hippys but they were the best party animals and new how to enjoy a rave. Music is very complex and suits the smaller crowd rooms perfect.

Splittercore for the one who asked is extreme speedcore normally 300-500bpm, is good at the end of a severe hardcore techno set.

have only got in on some sets mate but will get them on yousendit as soon as i get time and pm you. Is really good at the end of a speedcore set but more than 10 mins of it gets a bit much for me, very effective as an end point though.

if you've got cash to spare should look through the cds in phuturerave and sector 1 is plenty of speedcore there, a lot more energy than nu style.

And of course if you want better information than i can give pm knightmare im sure he'll sort you out.
