Dj Sy's mix was VERY below standard, i was not impressed with it at all, really bland...

Brisk's Mix i actually enjoyed quite a lot, and as for kevin energy im not really into freeform but it was pretty good.

overall i really enjoyed hardcore heaven 1 and 2 a lot more, a dissapointment for me i must say..

I don't want to be negative but I have to say Sy has not been doing for me live either! Ever since he won DJ of the year again he seems to have become a bit complacent to me. Every set seems to have been the same stuff - very predictable :-(

Not going to comment on HH3 yet cos I haven't had the chance to listen to it yet but the tracklisting looks good.

Kat

I started my own thread on this (someone will end up locking it) but I have to say Sy's mix is better than the last one on HH2

just got it today only listened to Brisks mix so far, an i think its fcuking immense. The intro was class, loved Stingray, its good to hear more cube::hard breakbeat stuff being played. The Brisk & vagabond tunes were amazing as ever, loved Turn Out The Light,Hit The Deck an Playing Games.
well every tune on it was great, not a single one i felt like skipping.

BRISK YOU ****ING LEGEND!!!

Sy's mix was alright.

DJ Kurt - Posse & Crew
Dougal & Gammer - Tripod (Exclusive HH Gratuitous Edit)
Lee UHF - Bodyache (DJ Kurt Remix)
Stormtrooper - Tune In
Breeze - Let's Fly (Sy & Unknown Remix)
Cube::Hard - Hold The Beat (Gammer Remix)

^^^^^
For me, those are the stand-out tracks on Sy's mix.

Brisk is in another league. Had me stomping from start to finish. Probably the best mix I've ever heard. The only poor thing about this mix is Brisk & Ham's "I've Got A Feeling", but it's still better than Breeze's vesion of it.

Brisk & V.A.G.A.B.O.N.D. - Hit The Deck (Ham Remix)
Ethos & Stormtrooper - Played 'N' Made
Robbie Long & Stormtrooper -Stick 'Em
Gammer - Moving To This
Euphoria - Playing Games
Gammer - Rip Roar
Ham - Clubheds (Bang The Drum)
Brisk & V.A.G.A.B.O.N.D. - Get It Started
and I can't be arse typing them so all the Gabber tracks aswell. (Especially Days Of Anger by The Speed Freak)

^^^^^
I loved every track in this mix but I just had to get up and dance to those.

Kevin Energy's mix was brilliant. I can't fault it at all.

Jelly Beans Crew Vs. Gammer - Donkey Punch (STOP! WHERE'S THE LOVE!!)
Eryk Orpheus - P.V.C (Fethis Mix)
Gammer - Unforgettable Hope (Freeform Mix)
Lee UHF - Extreme Power (Kevin Energy Remix)
Kevin Energy Vs. Gammer - This Is The Place!
The Acolyte - Sean Apollo - Clonecore
AC Slater - Crown Control
Sharkey Vs. Gammer - Heaven Now

^^^^^
Non-stop Freeform action. Loved it.

All in all, a ****ing immense album. Definately in my Top 3.

Personally, I thought we'd heard the best from Gammer, but he's certainly out done himself. Every track involing Gammer was first class and he's now my favorite producer. Gammer's Gabber track, What The Hood Made Me is my favorite Gammer tune.

Couldn't agree more. I give Gammer some stick on here not so long ago about a really poor mix of his (Bonkers 15). It was total tosh but for me the best tracks over the 3 CD's are Gamma's.

He's really up'ed the quality levels. I've never really been too much of a fan but I'm convinced now (or should that be converted). That lad's finding his form.

Gammer's impressed me mainly with the versatility of styles. Seems he's done everything, and I've enjoyed most of the work. I was a fan of Maniac, but I've only heard it the once, as my NextGen V3 disc wouldn't copy that song to my iPod, and HMV wouldn't take it back. So now I'm stuck unless I buy another copy, as I'm not into downloading things.

Hopefully he's got a few years in him yet.

Sy's mix is the best a few wicked tunes on there but yet again, he contributed nothing new!
Brisk is poor full stop.
Kevin Energy is alright, could have put a bit more effort into it though to be honest.
Overall i won't be too upset if there is no Hardcore Heaven 4, in fact it's better there isn't another one to embarass themselves even more.

How can you say that? How did Brisk fail to produce a mix that isn't quality?
Whittle, it sounds to me like you like Sy's simply because it has some songs you had heard before. (i.e. Save Me, etc.) Also, Sy's has a lot of new material, maybe not from himself, but you can't discount Tune In, Kick Ya, etc.

I'm sure that in a few weeks, you'll grow to like it. Hopefully.

Yeah i never ever like any of Brisks mixes or sets when i hear them for the first time, and they do usually grow on me so my opinion will change but for now i wanted something which i can sing along to, know the rythem etc.

:( i do not understand!

Jester got me this CD Yesterday :D spent all day listening today and last night when i got home. To be honest. Sys mix isnt all that. Somethings missing...

Brisks mix as per usual is LUSH! (tis been on repeat all day) Whittle, theres plenty to sing along to on brisks mix (if your balls havnt dropped hehe theyre a bit girly)

Not even got around to kevs cd, but i shall do soonish :)

I never used to be a fan of Gammer, but that was when I was younger and immature.

If you go back and listen to some of his older tracks they're wicked e.g. The Power Within, Rippin Up etc..

Just really starting to appreciate some of the stuff he has done over the past few years now, and obviously his new stuff is cracking too.

Right bit late but it's taken me a while to give all three disks a good listen.

Sy - Pretty bad mix IMO it's just not very exciting, few decent tracks but doesn't save it.

Brisk - That's better :). Some awesome mixing and there is a good bit of variety to be found here, loved the gabber tracks at the end and the breakbeat track & intro at the start. This is the type of UK hardcore mix I really enjoy.

Kevin energy - Owns! His best HH mix yet by far IMO. Endless amounts of proper quality tracks, love it :).

My favourite CD in ages and it's getting some serious canning ATM :).

Best tune on HH3 has to be The Speed Freak - Days of Anger in my opinion. I wish it was easier to get a hold of Speed Freak tunes, from the few clips I've listen to they sound brilliant.

Loved Brisk's mix from the get go, Sy and Kev's mixes really grew on me the 2nd listen. All in all excellant mixes with great tunes, each Dj seemed to stay true to their individual styles.
