I can remember listening to John Peel play a track by Shitmat when hardcore got on Radio 1 the other year.

Isn't Shitmat the guy that did the song 'Ellesse Warrior' (Or something like that), that sampled the voice of Devvo from David Firth's Fat pie website

I can tell what you mean by no rules and mayhem.
there were defo parts I was mashing to,
but some of the industrial or noise/terror-core sounds
I didnt didnt like. Too many pauses too.
but groovin to Thomas the tank engine was a laugh :)

He's not the same person as Slipmat is he? I was getting worried thinking someone was slaging off The Slipmat who had brought us some of the best Hardcore and remixes over the years.

does he use decks tho? in a pic on his site,hes sitting over a laptop...balrton or other software maybe?

not sure mate is impressive whatever its done on, was sent it by someone on msn and never saw him live.
speaking of that though im well into learning laptop mixing, seem some demos at sounds expo 2006 and its gotta be the future, so much more can be done that any turntable.
Im not gonna bother with cd-jays, gonna keep my vinyl and learn the laptop stuff aswell
