yeah! should be done again, in the late 80's early 90's they're were loads of mash-up mixes! thats where they came from! remember Jeff Young on the big beat show on radio 1 pre Pete Tong and he would play one every week! full of proper old skool mashes!

....... .............. Erm... That's illegal. You're pulling a rankin...or worse. Please, at least call it a PLASTIC remix or something? I'm not talking about your original stuff, but your mashups... Call 'em mash ups, and say what tracks they are. Nothing wrong with doing it, just be sure to clarify what you are doing. Please don't take offense, just trying to protect you from getting sued.

Oh thank you I changed them and credited the artists, It Still Lives is original, along with On The Floor by the way.

MixCraft 2.0, an awesome program I make tons of stuff on, mash-ups, original,j-pop hardcore bootlegs etc..... I also do original house music, that sounds like nothing you've ever heard before, under DJ Scratchin'. Also I have used SimSynth, Sound Recorder,Second Speech Center.

Ok here is my first attempt at a mashup, hopefully it's not too much of a massacre, it's a bit rough in places.

Key to a mash up...
Use the same key...or get it to sound right.
Good track selection, but still, it needs some serious work in the key department, making it sound together.
Oh, and yeah...good start, but not quite.

but yeah, they are good and they add an extra element and suprise to the mixes i find.

I've been doing one with 2 Scott Brown tunes, mixing them so that when the melody stops one 1 I mix in the melody off the second 1 - it sounds a lot better than I've described it here . Its a bit like Kev Energy's Lost Generation Megamix but with different tunes. One day I'll get the mixer to pc connection sussed and I'll be able to put it up lol

Would anybody like to hear my J-Pop bootleg mash-ups? They sound alot like MPT to me in my opinion...but you might think otherwise. I'll post them up on Soundclick, (and state they are bootleg mash-ups)...if you want to download em.
