Anyone know of any events in or around oxford that are on a weekly, fornightly or monthly basis? Just that its always a mission to brum or further to get my hardcore fix. I have actually been thinking of putting on a night at the brookes s.u as im a student but im not sure how much intrest this will generate? Oxford has a huge dnb scene and id love to be able to emulate and eventually rival this? What do you guiys reckon?

We do parties around the Oxford area but not on a set regular basis... I'd be happy to send you information on them as they happen if you like?

I know a lot of people that would be very interested and in fact i would like to get involved. I am currently in the process of setting up a hardcore society at my university for next year and parties around oxford would be a very good basis for me to get people involved in the scene. Please send me info and if theres anything i can do to promote these events i would be more than happy to help.
Take care.

I wanted to start a society in Durham for hardcore, but I probably wouldn't have got any members, as the 'hardest' music I've heard played is Public Domain - Operation Blade. Even then do all the students go on about how hardcore that is, and this annoys me because there is a whole world of Gabba/Gabber (Which one is it?) and even UK Hardcore that is unknown to them

Either way would be fine. My e-mail is [email protected]. I would really love to get involved. My love for the music and my intrest in the scene has grown so much recently that I am now at the stage where i want to start doing something for the music that i enjoy so much, so if you could get me into this in any way possible that would be great.
I hope to be in contact with you soon bulby :).

Hi Bidd.
Well if you could give me any tips maybe I could learn from your experiance. What I am actually hoping to do is start off with a few of my friends as members and introduce the society at the freshers fair. I plan toi take my decks and do a little set and also to blare out a few tapes in the tent that the uni sets up outside for the societies. I'm thinking of giving away a cd(set of my own) and various other goodies for people who sign up and pay a small fee, but i am unsure about how succesful this weill be :$. Maybe this is a little ambitious and it could all end up falling flat on its face but me and my mates think its worth a try to get a little scene going in the area beacuse as I said the nearest place to rave is birmingham. That aint stoping me going to uproar in two weeks time thou ;).
Any suggestions from anyone who might have some other ideas about how to get people involved would be more than welcome. HTID.
