I'd have crouch any day over beattie. Crouch may not be the best goalscorer but look what happened he came on against argentina, changed the game. He needs someone else though, I reckon defoe could work. However, I fully agree, losing big wayne is a massive blow.

john terry aint injured and neither is michael owen? terry just cut his leg that all but i hadnt ****in heard the 6 week thing, things could be worse, if we get through group he could be back for quarters semi's and to be honest the team will play in a whole different way without him, maybe better??? i would personally have bent and owen
