Can anyone tell me what has happen to Ultrasonic? They haven't been out to Sydney since 1997. Them and the Prodigy are the best live acts I've seen.

UltraSonic broke up and are now making millions as the trance / house group "Public domain"... no they will not get back together even for one gig and 10,000 dollars... it has been asked :)

Prodigy are commerical... you would need 10,000 bucks an hour for them.

Thanks for that guys. Prodigy are still popular out here. When I went to see them they did this mad happy hardcore number. It's alot of dough to pay ultrasonic to do one more gig. Still the party they played at in Sydney was the biggest rave I've been too. About 10,000 people were there. I doubt if they would get those numbers again. Besides you could spend that kind of money and have a number of DJs come out and play.

ULTRASONIC ARE STILL GOING!!
THEY ARE HEADLINING AT THE METRO SALTCOATS WHICH HAS SOME GREAT NIGHTS LINED UP. THE DATE WAS ON SITE LAST WEEK BUT CAN'T FIND IT NOW.
THE BAD NEWS IS THEY WILL BE WITHOUT MALLORCA ON MC :(
BUT THE TUNES WILL STILL BE BANGIN, LONG LIVE THE OLD SKOOL!! 1,2,3,4!!!

Prodigy new that they went commercial so instead of carrying on they decided to leave it for a few years coz they don't like being commercial.

Ultrasonic are no longer recording. They have as someone said, renamed themselves as Public Domain, but with the recent old skool revival they are lined up to play a few nights as Ultrasonic. No idea why Mallorca won't be there, wont be the same without him but they were THE band of that era. Cant wait to see them again!!

where are they playing i would luv to see ultrasonic again, and as for prodigy i agree with sy they'll take a brake then come back hard.

Hi manic YES Ultrasonic are still going on strong, the only difference in the band is the MC!

The MC used to be Mallorca, since he left Ultrasonic he has formed another band called Public Domain (Excellent)
