Can I just ask if anyone knows when the next large Hardcore event is in Bournemouth (eg Hardcore Heaven)
Reason I ask is that I've still not been to a rave, and my mate goes uni in Bournemouth and he says that he will go to an event with me and maybe a couple of his uni mates, next time there is something on. I've searched on the event thing and couldn't find anyone, but I'm hoping that maybe they always have a rave on at a certain time of year, so someone will roughly know when it is

Hardcore Heaven have just announced their next event at Slinky (Opera House in Bournemouth) on 14th July 2006

Thanks very much but that is a rubbish date, me and my mate will be back at home from uni then, and Bournemouth is MILES away from us.
Does anyone have any idea on how often they are, like is it a half-annual event?

They said somewhere that will be the last one this year for some reason. Last year we had 3 and this year we are just having 2 :-(
Destiny also run hardcore events at the Opera house every month but on a much smaller scale than Hardcore Heaven. They tend to have Hardcore in one room and D n B in the other room and alternate them so at the last one last Saturday D n B was in the main room so the next one towards the end of May the Hardcore will be in the main room.

I just looked at the website and it states 'our last event here until the end of 2006'
My translation of this would mean there is going to be another one this year, but at the end, like in December maybe. If it is towards the end of the year, then this could be my first rave which I attend (if you do not count Creamfields which I'm might be going for the first time in the summer)

yeah could be.
Last year it was Mar, July and Dec
This year it is Jan, July and ?Dec
Is there any particular reason why you are not interested in the other events like Destiny or Hypersonic?

Well thing is any event from now to October I'll definitely won't be going as I was hoping to coincide going to an event with seeing my mate in Bournemouth while he's at Uni, but we are both finishing soon and returning home.
Next uni year though I was going to go down from Durham to see him and stay with him for a few days, and to be honest he isn't a fan of hardcore at all, so I think he would only be interested in a large rave.
