Another wicked night at mission. Gabba, old skool and hardcore rooms all rocked throughout the night, and was less crowded than the last event which made dancing and moving around the venue a lot easier. I also thought that the atmosphere was improved on the April event, which may have been down to the extra space and not playing sardines every time you wanted to dance! New rooms were opened up, including an outside decked area for chilling out, but this had to be shut early as there was a lot of fighting going on in the surrounding pubs with all the football hooligans who had been to the Leeds game. Luckily there was none of this spilling over into Vibealite.
Set of the night had to be Joey Riot again. Every set he plays is bouncy and different, and I don't think there is any DJ at the moment who loos like he is enjoying himself anywhere near as much as Joey while he is behind the dex... and this shows in the crowds response all the way through the set. To top it off he played a two hour set as Sy was unable to make it due to speeding issues.
All the photos from the event can be found at http://www.gallery.ukscene.info
