Not true there's none in Holland & the UK or in Italy & Spain as far as I know. That covers quite a few of the main players in the hardcore scene... It may be big in America & Canada but it certainly aint massive anywhere else. I don't have a problem with "candy ravers" myself and I'm sure most people at a UK rave would think nout of it but I wouldn't fancy your chances in not getting mugged and/or getting the crap kicked out of you on the way to a party in London or Birmingham etc.
As for the artwork... Yeah looks good I like it.
@ Squishy - you'll get no hating from me, rave how ya like it's all good.
well when i say rave culture hardcore isn't the only genre that makes up rave culture(sorry but I include trance/house/techno/psy/dNb.ambient in that statement). Japan has kandy kids and I'm sure of that.<3 Gatecrasher has kandy kids. Kandy kids are global. Kandy kids=Hardcore thats my opnion and I truly think that.

there ravers... and they follow PLUR - I'm already in love with them...
... hey aslong as it ent a trend... and there not emo... its all good...
i don't really like the beads and stuff... but hey thats just my taste...
Emo kids and HxC kids are lame but some of the emo music isn't all that bad but the whole emo kid and HxC kid thing is way trendy but its whatever. I get mistaken for a hippy and sometimes when my hair is straight I get mistaken for an emo kid which is not kool to be mistaken for a emo kid..lmao but eh I know what I am and thats PEACE!
The beads are somethin I think is ****in awesome yeah its a gay but I dunno its ****in awesome! Its all about decadence! Its kinda like being a club kid minus the electro and house music.

Yeah sorry I may have said hardcore but there are no candy ravers in the countries I listed who listen to other rave genres either... Just because there are candy ravers in USA, Canada and Japan it doesn't mean that it's part of rave culture EVERYWHERE that's just an idiotic statement.
Hardcore = Candy ravers... There is no candy ravers in the home of UK Hardcore, none in the home of Gabber Hardcore, none in many other big countries known for their Hardcore scene, there was none about anywhere for like the first 6 years or so that hardcore existed... Yeah I can see where your getting that from

No candy ravers in the home of UK Hardcore, Gabber...Hardstyle? You sure about that?
Lots of those kids over there with 'em fluffies and ne0n bikini lyk tops and what not, wear kandi...I know P.L.U.R.R isn't really known there but still, you do have kandi kids there. The only difference is that maybe they don't o.d. on kandi like how we do...

i agree about uk hardcore, cybers and kandi's are same thing to me but defo not in gabber.
at thunderdome in holland i went to was 40,000 people and not one bit of day glo or glowstick in site. dont even think there was any whistles or horns, jus thoushands of people doin the hakkuh
dutch people even commented on how me and my mate were proper hardcore, but most brittish people dress stupid for raves.
but aye over here its a minority thing but has got a lot more since hardcore went trancy, gatecrasher was full of them and kinda came from there.
if people want to do it i dont have a problem, some of the chicks pull it off amazing but i draw the line at fat ugly guys wearing hotpants . thats just rank
i think plurs ridiculously simple and stupid, but hey it's not the worst thing to believe in. jus sounds really childish

Nah it's just not the same thing they're not candy kids. My mrs wears fluffy boots etc. and possible even may have a bracelet on or something but she isn't a kandy kid, shes prolly not even heard the term kandy kid before. Trust me I've been to a million raves in the UK and it just isn't a thing over here.
I'm not just bashing kandy kids or anything here it's just the truth.
I'm pretty sure most people know what PLUR means. It wasn't invented by kandy kids it's been about since the hippy movement. My parents know what it means LOL.

Crasher? As in Gatecrasher? Never been...
Is that photo really from the UK? No offence to anyone who dresses that way like but I'd seriously piss myself if I saw them lot at a rave... Or anywhere else come to think about it. I'm still recovering from seing it on here. They're not old enough to get into a rave surely they look like there 13 years old FFS.
I've seen some people on the verge of looking like KK at Hard House events n that but I mean really it's cyber which isn't exactly the same. I can honestly say I've never seen anyone looking like that at a UK rave.

nah mate top ones from america, dunno if the bottom ones from an actual rave jus pic of a cyber i saw on ush and saved it. jus tried to find photos i had on pc already cos couldnt be arsed looking.
i never went to gatecrasher either loved the cd's and sets from there woulda loved to go, if you look at photos from there was some real extreme cybers where the name "crasher kids" came from.
there probably is a difference between cybers and kandis just to me they look similar.
same as people make different names like rudeboy, ned, townie, chav or whatever when at end of the day there is differences but is all pretty similar.
and i couldnt care enough to find out what these differences are, if you wear full bright coloured outfits in raves with things that glow in dark is all pretty much one to me.

Well I dunno...but everyone i knew who wore it knew what they were wearing and why. If you have bright plastic beads big pants and your posted up ata party your akandy kid or anyone who wears is a kandy kid or well for the most part. But yeah I haven Pvd's global- and there japanese kids dressed in kandy wear and @ crasher kids. Its global I dunno but it is if it from north america to japan or australia.
(the only history i know of plur)
was used by frankie bones (techno dj) in the late 70's with the whole re-inventing of disco(house) and whatever somethin like that. I didn't know hippys used PLUR, I know the term peace and love! but not straight up PLUR*.lol.
