yeah, true, been thru this fase quiet a few times and will resort in old trance or some other thing..then get all about hardcore again all day long for weeks...all in all i prefer my electronic music best and mostly listen to them, just in prefrence stands Hardcore above all...then i change form time to time into jungle, drum n bass, house...then get into rock, alternative, soft rock, latin rockballads..oldies, reggae...soca...etc, but never really get much into them...then all of a sudden i feel an urge or heard some hardcore and then im all over it again...saying..its the best ****in music ever!!!
but this is good..then u get withdrawal which leads to craving it back like a crackwhore...just an optimistic pov

For some of the finest folk music I've ever heard try these guys -
http://www.planxty.ie ....and 'luminate', your "it's like Yin & Yang" is about right. Perfection, in anything, is a question of Balance. As far as this website is concerned, even though there have been some real *ankers on here recently, it's still a damned sight better than any of the others and the only place that we enjoy bothering with. So even if you fancy a break from Hardcore there's still a lot of good people here.

you need to get out more lad.
aye a lot of us geeks who spend all our time on net are getting tired or have moved onto other things, dont get me wrong there is plenty of older faces dont like how things have changed.
But go to raves mate and you'll see thoushands of people who love it, way more than a few years back.
A lotta people hated the way music went in 94 or 96 and lost there love when the cheese came in. Same kinda things happening with it now.
And ionosphere thank you very much for the links, will check them out later am looking forward to hearing something different.

I've been abit out of this forum and out of UK Hardcore.
Nowadays I listen to Gabber and Vocal trance (depending on what mood I'm in).
If you ask me, then I would answer this: This forum is boring.
(or maybe I'm just too lazy to reply in the topics...)
Well kathryn, I am still thankful for your replies in my first topic... That was ages ago but I'm still thankful for them.
Didn't find the topic now but oh well...

After quite a few weeks of being decidedly underwhelmed with what Hardcore has had to offer, i decided to buy some records today cos there are loads i've missed lately.
Ended up buying 3!

Must admit I did pick up a few tracks from HMV on friday.
I looked at the hhc shop today, only two I'd pick up. Might as well save some money & get them another time.

Its sad to see a lot of people falling out of love with hardcore! but that always happens with this type of music, most people here are young and will probably move on to other forms of music not just dance!
Me! its the only music I've liked for the last 15 years! listen to other forms of Dance but just doen't hit the spot like hardcore! I love all forms of hardcore and always will even the sh*te! Its the only music I buy, listen to and look for. So see ya anyone thats getting bored with the scene, but remember I'll still be here in 10 years, going bald, aching bones and with teenage kids goind dad your embarrising me listening to that NOISE!
