'2006 is the year of Hardcore.’ That’s what the dance press are predicting, and this time, they are right on the money. Hardcore albums are topping the charts; the buzz is gaining momentum daily; and the UK is bracing itself for a summer hardcore explosion.
Last year, the team behind Extreme Euphoria spotted the increase in popularity, quickly putting on a one-off hardcore night in London, and boy was it hot! So sizzling, in fact, that Euphoria HQ decided to make it a regular event. Now, as it prepares for its third installment, it’s firmly etched as the Capital’s premier hardcore happening.
This time the ‘having it’ havoc is provided by 12 of the world’s most prolific artists. It’s the talents and vision of these guys which have been responsible for its resurgence, as they continually obliterate boundaries, making it fresher than any other extreme musical genre.
In keeping with its sister parties, Old Skool and Extreme Euphoria, Hardcore Euphoria was in need of a permanent fixture – a resident. We couldn’t look anywhere else other than to the marvel that is KEVIN ENERGY, who gladly accepted and fits into the mould perfectly.
