Don't really agree with that TBH. I've listened to Gabber and Freeform for years now and yes maybe I listen to them a bit more as mainstream UK stuff has dried up a bit lately but I'm not jumping on any wagon. I don't dislike all Raver Baby's material I like plenty of their new stuff it's just that ClublandXH 2 was not varied enough and had allot of shit on it (most of which prolly wouldn't seem so shit if there wasn't so much of it all sounding very same same one track after another). As most people I know would tell you though and as you can prob. see in other posts I've made I like a load of the UK stuff and still support it. I'm sure at least some people feel the same way as I do about it.
I'm assuming your including anyone who has spoken badly off ClublandXH 2 here, if not sorry for the rant ;)

Same. IMO Hardcore Heaven 3 is better, not that I got Clubland although I have heard it on people's I-pods and in a shop and I know what Raverbaby sounds like and I'm like 'This is not my kind of thing- END OF'

I mean people who used to like the Raverbaby stuff and now hate it and love gabba and freeform. If you've loved it from the very start, can't fault you!

Aight fair enough :) I think allot of peeps probably liked gabber & freeform already though and just got bored of the mainstream sound after a while because you hear so much of it... I suppose there probably is a couple of people who have noticed people go that way and have copied because they're sad enough to not make up their own decisions in life about what they like but TBH, hardcore is not a "cool" music so the people that listen to it aren't generally trend followers.
I think it would help if there was more variation at raves there isn't enough freeform or alternate label material being played IMO, quite often you will only hear one freeform set the whole night! Also I don't see why all the DJ's need to permanently play upfront stuff, why not have a couple play '00 - '04 stuff to stop you from having to here the same new tunes get hammered 3 or 4 times in one evening? Like I say I still enjoy mainstream stuff (including RBC) but there is nothing I hate more than hearing the same sorta thing over and over. Variety is the spice of life ;)

no bandwagon for me either agree with bulby.
i just hate anything that sounds like pop trance, i grew up listening to rez sets (old bouncy techno/gabber) so aint really surprising i just like tougher music.
just not enough energy for me at all, everyones got there own taste but i was into hardcore long before raverbaby came out and have never been much into it.
had some good tunes out in past and you cant deny raves go off wen there artists play out, just not my thing and never will be.

Im really enjoying it at the moment to be honest. I think one sucked, but two i really liked. Everyone says they hated the hixxy disc but i think there are quite a few good tracks on his disc and imo its the best one.
Isnt the reason he couldnt 'mix' it as such is becuase he is only allowed to do mixes for the bonkers series of cd's. Thats why its called a 'bonus' disc and the tunes arent so much mixed, they are more cut so to avoid this issue.
I dunno i heard that around a while back.
