Has anybody been here recently?
what is it like? what are the best rides? what are not really worth going on?
I am off there on Monday, There is a new ride called Stealth and it goes up 205ft and accelerates from 0-80mph in 2.3 seconds!!! Its one of those "must do before I die" moments
A friend of a friend has been recently and took this pic of Stealth! looks sexual!!!

Im just on the website now watching the videos of the rollercoasters... and woah.... how excited am I?!

aww I hope it isnt!
I went to Alton Towers about 3 years ago. And It was okay, but nothing major, maybe it was because I was stuck with two girls who were too scared to go on anything! And Oblivion was shut.
This is a "college" trip. Organised by the I.T course but they had like 20 spaces spare, So 4 of us from our course are tagging along, So hopefully it will just be us four and then meet up for coach home later.
Im such an adrenaline Junkie and I hope this lot I am going with are as daring as I am! :)

Yeah that stealth does look good. Thorpe park used to be a proper kiddies place but they've put some quality rides there now. Loggers leap and thunder river were always classic rides, don't know if they're still there now though!

Year before last I think it was, I had two weeks holiday so I decided I was going to do a Theme Park marathon. I think I did 6 altogether.
Alton Towers
Lightwater Valley
Flamingo Land
American Adventure
Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Drayton Manor Park
Thorpe Park is a bit too far to travel for me though.
I think Drayton Manor was the best mainly because of Apocalype and the Stand-up rollercoaster.

Well... today was the day.
That ride Stealth was ****ing awesome!!!
It was pissing down with rain, and we queued for a fair while, they closed it as the rain had became way too heavy, but we remained in the queue! I cannot express how drenched I was. Thank the lord for my mighty big rain coat hehe
Anywho, this rollercoaster yeah, Launches you off at immense speed! felt amazing! zoomed you up to the peak and then dropped you down at the end! wow wow wow wow wow highlight of the century!
we wanted to go back, but it had been closed for repair. theres like these constant magnets that repell which is what launches you off, and something had bust and the ride kept sliding back down heh
All in all it was a wicked day apart from the rain, and the fact that collosus was too rattley and my head was being knocked about resulting in several of my earings being ripped out, so I lost my favourite earing :( and I got a massive headache for the journey home meh.
was going to post a few pics, but I cannot be bothered to resize them... So here are a few videos instead of me and my college buddies being knobs!
The coach was about an hour late... but it came... eventually

Yea, I think they are both owned by tussauds or something like that. That ride em jay posted looks beasty :o
Alton towers as seemed to of gotten very boring now after being so many times, I was thinking about going here too or drayton manor but not sure how good that park is either.
I've been to that american adventure park that was quite alrite but a little bit small. Is there any other good parks besides these that are in the uk??
