Does anyone understand the offical hardcore awards? found out vibealite here in the u.k are holding theirs in june but slammin vinyl / hardcore heaven are doing theirs at westfest again. so whats happening? are wwe going to have different dj's saying their the offical winner of awards? and if so which one is going to be more accurate?

Take what you will from it neither really have the right to say they are the official hardcore awards.

IF your asking me, Slammin vinyl, I can't understand vibealite's angle, even if vibealite did them many years ago and stopped doing it (not sure if this is true - it's the only reason I can think of for calling their awards the official awards as well), it doesn't give them the right to claim they are the official after Slammin vinyl had been running it for 3 years and never stopped doing hardcore parties.

correct, there all still a lot of bollocks imo
sorry to those who belive in it but it jus seems a publicity stunt to me, slammin have no right calling them OFFICIAL either.
there's no official governing body of hardcore, aye it's public votes but not many people take it seriously.
slammin never stopped doin hardcore parties, neither did vibealite.
both same to me, somethin i cant be arsed voting for.
respect for summer sensation though, good to see a big event booking that many quality artists from around the globe
