Pretty damn cool...

Taken from DJ Mag.com
quote: An exciting bit of kit has just arrived at DJmag HQ – the Vestax CDR-07 is the world’s first CD turntable capable of recording CDs as well as playing them.
You can plug your vinyl turntable into the back of the CDR-07, so can transfer you entire record collection to CD easily.
The Vestax CDR-07 can also be used to record your DJ sets straight to CD, or used as a third deck as part of your exciting set-up.
The CDRW deck has three effects too - flange, delay, and filter, and of course can pitch shift.
What do you think? Pretty cool imo, and pretty useful for getting your vinyl onto a CD, and then potentially to your computer...

Yeah. I guess, for people who want to record live straight to a CD at an event (they don't have a computer to record on) and use it as a third deck at the same time, pretty versatile in that sense.
Still, it looks nice.

I personally can speak about the quality of the Vestax CDX-05.
GOOD PRODUCT!
Great effects unit, does what it needs to do really well, intuitive, easy to use, etc. etc.
Doesn't skip, high quality finish, new car smell etc. etc.
Got mine for 400$ w/ the Tascam Control Unit. The White finish is nice. I'd hit it.
