ahh screw it, i'll jump on the blam wagon.
yup, you made a twat of yourself good and proper there matey!!!
From what i'm reading of your post here its seems:
1) that you can't like football AND hardcore... uh huh.
2)If you liked hardcore first you should get rid of your football shirts because YOU don't like seeing them at raves because that means your arrogant so but changing your clothes you become a more, or less arrogant person.....ok....
3)and it would appear that a person's gender also effects just how arrogant a person is (if this is down to just people that like football which i'm guessing, otherwise please enlighten us with more of your wise words)
4)That people are killing the scene because they wear an item of clothing that offends you so much that your going to do what.....stop buying hardcore cd's? stop going out with friends to raves? stop going to sites about hardcore?.........(to be honest if this is what you think the result of football is going to produce, then your not the sort of person that I would like to think is going out to raves that i enjoy so much.
Your an extremely weak minded person if you believe something as simple as a piece of cloth is going to bring down a scene.
Please use your noggin.

Wow!
Another amazingly thought-provoking and controversial topic from the master of all things shite.
You never fail to amaze me with your well thought out posts, perhaps the reason why i'm lost for words.
I've been a football lover since a very young age, and i assure you that my arrogance is more to do with my upbringing than my being a footy fan! Music and football have NO connection.
Same answer for -
Hardcore and being a Chav
Hardcore and Asda
Unlike the obvious connection between being 95_was_the_time and being a tool!

*shakes her head*
You know what gets to me the most?
The fact that everybody is calling something a "scene". Oh come on guys!!! Give me a break, It is music, and there are raves, there is no community or "scene" what is this scene? How can you kill it, and who are you to say whats good/bad for it?
That is something that really pisses me off... but dont slate me for it. It is merely my opinion.
At the end of the day, this kid that started this thread has a problem with footy shirts. So do I.

Well there is a "scene"/"community" in my oppinion. There doesn't have to be for a music genre to survive but there is and it often helps. It's a following, and the word scene/community is far better than the alternatives like "movement", "fanbase" etc.

It's just a choice of words and nothing more imo.
Thats very fair to say Simon, same as being fair to say that football shirtwearers are in their little scene too. I'm not getting my ideas out into words very well here am I I know what I mean

Nope ;) Not following you exactly anyway. Unless you mean that people who where football shirts are in a "scene" which is sort of true I guess... They would be part of the football "scene" & also of their clubs "scene".
Hardcore is certainly a music "scene" though... The "scene" being the music, everything & everyone connected to it.
I think I've used my quota of that word for today.
