ok, i just got this cd in the mail today and i was reading the inside and it says the songs were unreleased? So is the cd vinyl mixed or just mixed using a program on the computer or something? Are these real songs or were they just made for the cd?

The one thats mixed by Brisk? That came out in like '98 so I bet some of the unreleased songs were just unreleased at the time. I've got a few of the tracks on vinyl, "Ready to Fly" by the Core Foundation is an awesome remake of an older Dune song.I don't know about how the mix was put togethor, but I do know that big name Djs get records long before they're available to the rest of us.

came out in '97...the cd is mixed by brisk and the vinyl came out as a 4 pack I believe.

are they real songs? what kind of question is that =P

were you expecting fictitious songs?

I'd guess he meant unreleased rather than fictitious

Even though a song is unreleased, the artist who created it still has the freedom to do whatever he/she wants with it. Including including (:P) it into one of their live shows (or wherever they spin) or in one of their mixes. So a song can still be unreleased meaning it never got it's release on a label, given a cat#, and mass produced on vinyl/cd and shipped out.
Brisk probably had many unreleased tunes when he did this mix.
And it saves cash on tune licensing.
