sorry anyone from England but I'm praying England don't win the world cup! it would go on and on and on and on...........! I'm Welsh/Irish and before you say haha where the f**k are you this world cup! population in england is 15-1 compared to Wales! so every good player we have you've got 15! and before you say it Giggs would complete the the English team!

That's one of the most retarded things I've ever read. I can understand you not partucularly wanting England to win the World Cup but why would want to see us not win? If Wales were in the World Cup and we weren't we would be cheering them on. Why do the other parts of Britain not want to see us do well? Jealousy perhaps?

Sorry mate but disagree with you on that one. I'm sure most English would'nt cheer on the Welsh, Irish or Scottish if thier lives depended on it.
I for one, wouldn't cheer on any other country in the World Cup other than England.
If England don't qualify, then the World Cup doesn't matter to me.
I'm sorry if I cause offence but the Welsh , Irish & Scottish (or any other) national team means nothing to me.

Because it's hilarious watching all of you build yourselves up more and more and more then fall really early. At least the rest of the UK are humble towards footballing nations like Brazil, Italy, France, etc. But England are always convinced they're gonna win and you hype it up so much that the rest of the world can't help but piss themselves laughing at you're expense.

As for Ryan Giggs had he played for England after school boy level would he have earned more thab the 50 or so caps his picked up for Wales in the last ten years?
I think he wouldnt have pretended to be injured quite so much.

hope the ausies do really well i'm supporting them in the world cup! but this England coverage is spoiling my world cup! every game before , half time and at the end of the games its England, England, England! I don't give a flying f**k about them if I'm watching 2 other teams playing in a game! its one of the reasons us celts are hoping they fail!

Its the hype that the media build up that probably pisses ppl off the most, it pisses me off and I'm English!! Apparently at the last world cup when we played Brazil, Brazil had copies of all the English "newspapers" up in their changing rooms and used all the ridiculous stories and headlines to inspire them and it obviously worked lol
England do have a chance to win it but so does nearly every team who's in it bar a few outsiders, the way the press were going on before hand was as if the cup was allready won!!
And if any other british team were there I'd be cheerin them all the way (until they played England  ) I cheered on Ireland last time they were there.
